Celebrating more than 30 years of Travelling Marshal support at the Isle of Man TT Races
Honda extends its heartfelt thanks to the Isle of Man TT Races Travelling Marshals and their crucial role in ensuring the safety and smooth running of the most iconic motorcycle race in the world. Without their unwavering dedication, none of Honda’s racing achievements since first racing on the island in 1959 would have been possible.
Honda has collaborated with the Isle of Man TT Races and the Marshals for a number of years since first providing support in 1977. During this time, various iconic production Honda motorcycles were utilised in this unique role, including the 1977 CB750, 1978 CBX1000, 1995 RC45 & various iterations of the Fireblade.
These years of unwavering support reflect the deep bond between Honda and the Isle of Man, as the venue to host Honda’s first ever competitive foray into motorsport. Sixty-six years later, and on the cusp of this year’s event, Honda remains the manufacturer with the most wins at this prestigious event with a remarkable total of 197 wins and counting.
Team Principal Neil Fletcher
"On behalf of everyone at Honda I would like to thank each and every member of the Travelling Marshal team, past and present, for their dedication and commitment. Their role at the TT is entirely unique and Honda is incredibly proud to have provided them with the machinery that enables them to carry out such a crucial role at the event. Without them, there is no racing, and without the racing, Honda is not able to proudly celebrate such a rich history of racing on the island. I eagerly look forward to another year of close racing on the island and wish all competitors and everyone at the TT a safe and successful fortnight."![]()
