Honda secures Isle of Man TT Manufacturers’ Award

News
Following a remarkable fortnight of racing for the 2025 Isle of Man TT Races, Honda, for the third year running, was presented with the Manufacturers’ Award after its most successful campaign for 10 years.

Two TT wins for Dean Harrison in the Superstock class and a further three podium finishes in the Superbike and Supersport categories were the Japanese manufacturer’s distinctive headline results, which made its international competition debut on the Isle of Man in 1959. These two wins for the Honda Racing team further cemented Honda’s legacy as the most decorated manufacturer to have ever raced at the TT, now with an impressive 200 wins and counting.

Strong finishes for Harrison’s storied team-mate, 23-time TT winner John McGuinness MBE, including seventh in the Superbike class and eighth in Superstock 2, added significantly to Honda Racing’s results at the event. In total the factory team had five entries for its pair of riders - Fireblades for Harrison and McGuinness in the Superbike and Superstock classes, with Harrison also contesting the Supersport class on a CBR600RR.

In addition, Honda was the choice of a huge number of private competitors at the TT. In total there were six Hondas entered in Supersport, 14 in Superbike and 16 in Superstock with an additional 14 Honda-powered sidecars. Their collective successes in achieving top-10 finishes also pushed Honda towards the top.

Team Manager Havier Beltran

“To be so consistently in the hunt for victories at the Isle of Man TT is a testament to the entire team and to Dean Harrison’s abilities both as a rider and in his role of leading a development programme for both the Fireblade and CBR600RR. Working together with John McGuinness MBE, who was the first to recommend Dean as a possible signing for the team two years ago, he and our engineering team have moved mountains together and this is a deserved award. It is also gratifying to see so many of our customers achieving such strong results, and we congratulate them on a memorable TT fortnight.”

Team Principal Neil Fletcher

“The Isle of Man is a special place for Honda. The TT was where our founder, Soichiro Honda, elected to send his motorcycles out into international competition for the first time, and from that moment on he declared that “If Honda does not race, there is no Honda.” This year has shown Dean Harrison to be among the very best road racers that we have had the privilege of working with. To see him alongside John McGuinness MBE has been a real pleasure, while we also celebrate the achievements of our customers across all the classes in this year’s event.”
