News
Kennedy’s focus reflects Honda Racing UK’s determination to win the British Supersport Championship, retaining the most successful rider in the history of the class for another season.

Champion in 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2024, Jack has established an exceptional record of success in British Supersport. His five titles reflect both his outright speed and his ability to sustain championship-winning performances across a full season. From qualifying on pole to closely fought podium finishes, Kennedy has consistently set the standard at the front of the field in 2026.

His 2024 championship victory with Honda Racing UK demonstrated the strength of the partnership, delivering the British Supersport crown aboard the CBR600RR in his first season with the team. Since then, Jack has remained a regular contender at the sharp end of the championship, combining his experience with the determination to keep improving.

The renewed agreement underlines Jack’s steadfast commitment to Honda Racing UK and his belief in the CBR600RR. His knowledge of the motorcycle, clear technical feedback and close working relationship with his crew provide a strong foundation for the team’s preparations for 2027.

For Honda Racing UK, retaining Kennedy brings continuity and a rider whose ambition matches the team’s own. His relentless pursuit of excellence, attention to detail and ability to deliver under pressure will remain central to the Supersport programme.

Jack Kennedy

It was an easy decision to continue my partnership with Honda for 2027. We have built a really strong relationship over the last few seasons and achieved a lot in that time so it’s a pleasure to get to work with everyone again next year. I want to thank Neil Fletcher and Scot Hargreaves for this opportunity and will repay them with my full focus on winning another championship together.

Team Manager Scot Hargreaves

Three seasons, a championship, two teams titles and a host of podiums. Jack has been at the heart of everything we’ve built in Supersport, and re-signing him for a fourth year in 2027 was an easy decision. He brings speed, professionalism and real attention to detail, and the trust we’ve built over these three seasons is a genuine advantage. We know each other, we know what we’re aiming for, and we’re hungry to push on together. Our focus for 2027 is simple. Keep developing the package, keep raising the standard, and give Jack the tools to fight for another title.
