Ryan Air Flies from Thruxton to Cadwell in First-Class Back to Back Double Double
The Lincolnshire circuit is Honda Racing UK's home round, with the team's headquarters based just a few miles away in nearby Louth. Honda Racing UK marked the occasion with the unveiling of a stunning one-off HM Plant tribute livery. Created to celebrate 30 years of the British Superbike Championship, the iconic black and orange colours paid homage to one of the most successful eras in Honda Racing UK's history, bringing a wave of nostalgia to thousands of fans, staff, riders and teams around the Cadwell Park circuit.
The famous colours also carried special significance for Jason O'Halloran, it was also the second time the Australian had raced for Honda in black and orange, having first worn the colours during his Superstock days earlier in his career.
Race One didn't deliver the fairytale result the home crowd had hoped for. After showing impressive pace throughout the weekend, Vickers' race ended prematurely following a crash, bringing an abrupt end to what looked set to be another challenge at the front. Despite the disappointment, setting the fastest lap prior to the spill alluded to front running pace.
O'Halloran, meanwhile, continued to demonstrate the progress that has been building over recent rounds. His confidence in the bike was clear, catching, passing and gapping riders to finish in fifth place.
If Sunday ended in frustration, Monday belonged emphatically to Ryan Vickers. From the moment the lights went out in Race Two, the Honda Racing UK rider seized the initiative with a perfect holeshot before immediately dictating the pace.
Despite constant pressure from behind, he never looked flustered. Every challenge was answered and he controlled proceedings from the front to secure his third consecutive victory with an incredible flag to flag performance. Jason's sixth place finish backed up his race one performance.
Race Three followed an almost identical script.
Another lightning-fast start delivered a second holeshot of the day before Vickers once again stamped his authority on proceedings. Calm, controlled and devastatingly quick, he had answers for every question on track. Ducati and Yamaha both had a swipe at his lead but Ryan kept a cool head and always seemed to have something in reserve. Ryan's style over The Mountain was as emphatically confident as his pace at the front of the pack and he delivered his best performance of the 2026 Zyn British Superbike Championships.
Jason O'Halloran completed another encouraging afternoon by repeating his sixth-place finish from Race One. While the final result perhaps didn't fully reflect his pace, the Australian was clearly happier with his performance.

I absolutely rode my heart out this weekend. I was pushing myself harder in some of those corners than I ever have, braked harder and later than I ever thought possible round here and delivered a performance that the team, our sponsors, the fans at home and trackside all deserved. I felt bad for crashing out of race one, I apologised to the other rider and took the three position penalty on the chin. I just wanted to get back out for the next race knowing that my fastest lap was strong enough to run at the front. The pace was good enough for an incredible day, two wins again after Thruxton is incredible, I'm so happy for me and to be able to repay the boys in the team. It's a shame I couldn't do it in the black and orange colours but to win twice in one day again, with so many friends, family and fans watching on the hill at Cadwell Park is a truly special feeling.

A fifth and two sixth place finishes is a strong weekend. I had good pace, good enough to run at the front but I had to start from a little bit too far back to be able to capitalise on it. The fifth place finish is the best result I've had so far this season and to have delivered it in the special colours the team ran felt really good. I'm really grateful to the team for their hard work all weekend and it feels like I'm getting back to the sharp end of the pack, just in time for Assen.
